ANNIVERSARY and tons of shit going on....

TUESDAY----

Today is the wife and I's 3rd year anniversary! Usually our tradition for our anniversary is to drive to THE LIONS DEN (a porn shop) and buy tons of videos/mags and go home and watch and do all sorts of naughty things all night. But we took care of most of that on sunday! So, this day we had to do something else, and with very little cash to spend.

We started out by waking up around noon and going to MIDLAND. At BEST BUY, we window shopped. I scoped out the IPOD I will be buying in a couple weeks. Also, we saw THE SIMPSONS season 8, which Kelly wished she could get. Then we went to the nearby mall and I got a STAR TREK magazine. Then we got home and went to GAME TRADERS, TARGET and the DOLLAR STORE. I bought some school supplies for the Codester and the wife bought a couple $5.00 DVDs.

Once at home, we decided to pull apart that second bedroom and sort out crap we want to throw away. I tossed out nearly 4 boxes of magazines, and a full box of comics. Plus, TONS of shit I have been saving for dumb reasons. Out it went and we're minimizing for our move.... 7 months away! Can't you tell we are excited??

Then we eat dinner at McDonalds (cheap and non-romantic) using our super discount cards (one of the few perks of working for the arches). Then watch DAY OF THE DEAD. She hadn't seen it yet and I say that its better the second time seeing it! Then we watch an episode of the SIMPSONS season 7 before passing out around 1am. No nookie. Too zonked to bonk. But it was a lovely day spent with the one I love most dear. A rarity for us really. Had this been a normal tuesday, I would have worked at my two jobs, and not seen her at all. One day... one day...

WEDNESDAY---

I get up and head to McDonalds. I have a decent shift and then go to the newspaper. I mail out some commissions I was hired for on the way.

Once there, I got some confirming news on the MID-OHIO Con I might be doing. Final verdict still to come but its looking like a very strong possibility. Also, I chat with my buddy Dean about TALES #1 and #2 (upcoming), Future cons and plans. I miss my pal Dean. Luckily, I am not moving out of MICHIGAN. So we will still get to see each other often. I hope anyway.

I get paid for this CD Cover art I did for this band called "4-TELL RUIN." Yay, another gig in the bank, and money in my pocket for the months and dust to eat. I also get some emails about changes to the pages I did for the WISE INTELLIGENCE comic. I hope to finish the word balloons by tonight or tomarrow at the latest. Gotta do a pinup for the man as well. That will have to wait till this weekend as its the only day I can get to sit at my table at home.

On another note: The wife is going to CEDAR POINT this sunday. Finally delivering on the promise that she will go to Cedar Point before the summer is out. I promised her a trip there back when we went to Jersey (see archived blog). She and some friends will be going. I will remain home like a dork and watch TV, and draw on new stuff. I am not a roller coaster guy and I would hate the trip. I'm glad she will go and have a good time. Me? I'll have a good time NEXT weekend cause my son is coming up. We're gonna go shopping for school clothes, my IPOD and maybe some video games! Of course!

.... either he landed the nerdiest father in the world or he's very lucky. I'm thinking the previous.
