Been busy this week. Thanksgiving ads are coming in at work and I am trying to work as many hours as possible to get some O.T. money for Mid Ohio Con! Anyone care to donate to a worthy cause of me doing the trip and buying some comics??? Allow me to direct you to our STORE section!

I got the script for Earthgirl #2 and its quite solid. I thumbnailed out the cover and first 4 pages and started on it. I got the cover 3/4ths done when Melody announced that she was doing the cover... so I guess my cover is a pinup now! No biggie. But I started on the interiors last night and they are looking AMAZING!!! Seriously, this is a step WAAAAY up from the first one. It still maintains that "cartoony" feel of the first one, but its grittier and sexier. More detailed. I ain't bullshitting my backgrounds at all! Its flowing nice. I just had one of those nice drawing days and I'm glad its flowing well.

I got my Capt. Kirk on his command chair action figure in the mail today. Its a sweet figure! The only complaint I have is that his shirt insignia is placed wrong on his shirt. Its waaaay up by the neck! Obviously a missprint or mistake in production. Oh well. I took it to work and it resides in my cubiculum with some other action figures of mine.

I'm drawing Pleasant Life #3 as well as Earthgirl #2, so its interesting to juggle all these things. I've never been happier really. I'm loving being busy with comic work. If only it paid more! but I think as I get out into the world more, I'll get more commission work and the books will be selling more. Another few months in the trenches. I feel something BIG is coming. Don't you?

Still listening to alot of Fanboy Radio. I did listen to some of the actual MUSIC on my Ipod this week at work to drown out the loud vaccuum of the cleaning people in my office. Its my favorite toy, this IPOD. By no means does it replace my CD collection... but damn if it ain't smooth and convenient as all hell!

Broke as shit this week and weekend. I wish I had some money to go get my comics. That would make me very happy. But next week, we get paid and I gotta save some dough for MID OHIO CON as well.... comics galore there!

I haven't done much else other than draw and go to work. I desperately need to do laundry! But again... money. Stupid laundrymats!
