Been a bit since I last checked in with you all.

Since my previous post and the announcement I’ve made, feedback has been all positive. I’m confident I’ve made the right decision. Already the new projects are creeping up behind me and tapping me on the shoulder asking for attention. But I gotta finish Pleasant Life first.

I’ve entertained the notion of releasing it as 2 big trades. Simply to save on cost. All told, the book will be around 500 pages and will cost around $24.95 to buy. There’s not much profit in it when I gotta keep my costs down. But I think I’ll find ways around it. I think whats important is that I am allowing a way for everyone to get the COMPLETE story with everything collected this way. So those that are passionate about it will get it.

Also, I got a couple new things on the pot cooking as far as extra revenue and a new method of getting new Pleasant Life content to the people BEFORE this book comes out. Expect an announcement come March at the latest. And another decision was made today. One I think secures my financial future as an artist. Of course that won’t be announced till around March as well. Sorry to tease you a bit, but just want to reassure you that things are always progressing forward over on this end.

Speaking of progress, I’ve finished the TED story in Pleasant Life part 4. Starting on part 5 which is pretty LUCAS centered. Exciting shit. I’m on my way to finishing this sucker.

Another big thing happened this week…

The wife and I decided to buy ourselves an Xmas present kinda early and we got a HD big screen TV. Spent over a grand on it. WHEW! Best Buy cards are the best aren’t they? I’m pretty excited about it. It makes the porn huge on the screen (ever see a 5 foot penis? Yeah!) but it brings me into a modern age. I’m a classic guy. I have a hard time wrapping my head around new technologies (as you may have heard my rant on the Idiothead podcast about this. If not, shame on you!). But this means I am advanced over some. It makes me kinda proud. Not to mention that I can actually see ALL THE SCREEN on my widescreen DVDs now. Before we had a simple 22” Tv. Now we got a full HD LCD screen at our disposal. Next, we’re getting an HD DVD player and some discs (likely that lovely STAR TREK TOS season box set that just came out!) J

Work is the same. Boring and uneventful. Ugh.

Had thanksgiving. I cooked a lot. Turkey, mashed potatoes, chicken and dumplings and bread. It was yum. Already have the Xmas tree up with some presents under it. Happy holidays all around.

This week hopefully, Shane and I are gonna be recording new podcasts. We haven’t got together in a bit cause he had surgery on his back and they’ve been busy remodeling on their house and I’ve been working/drawing for 20 hours a day! We’re still around though. Look for some big things coming up in the podcast. Exciting shit. Trust me.
