EXPENDABLE Alt. Cover, Baby's Heartbeat, and a general HOW ARE YEH???

Lots going on.

Above you will see the two covers of THE EXPENDABLES #1. The Top is the regular cover. The other is the ALTERNATE cover. A first for me. I thought that it was going to be another artist on it, but apparently they chose to use one of the interior pages for it. Came out nice I think. It’s a deal with WONDERLAND COMICS in Taylor, MI too. We’re working on getting a release party/signing to happen there in March/April to co-incide with its release to the public. I’ll let you know if it happens. But I’m excited for my first in color comic book!

I got about 35 pages left on Pleasant Life and its done for good. Excellent!

Well, Toshiba announced that they will no longer be making HD DVD players, officially ending the HD/BLUERAY fight. Unfortunately, I bought an HD DVD player for Xmas and now have an expensive piece of obsolete machinery. Last time I ever take a chance on something, that much I can promise. Also, Toshiba was paying for the STAR TREK REMASTERED footage and that was the major push from Paramount to support HD. Now that HD is nil, it’s a possibility it might not see release on blueray for a long time, if at all. So, in a nutshell, my love of STAR TREK fucked me on this. I got the HD DVD player based on Paramount’s support of the format and the STAR TREK Season 1 HD DVD. Man, that sucks.

Went to the doctor’s yesterday and got our first peek at our 7 week old baby. I got glassy eyed when I saw its little heart beating all fast. Quite something to see that. But we’re both excited even more than we were before.

We got a lot to accomplish in the next few months. We gotta pay off all our cards, save up some cash for the baby and get everything we need for the baby AND to launch my at home business.
