Can I talk about Pittsburgh Comic Con enough you think???

Hey me dirty droogies! Here we go.

Well, another fun week has passed. I worked for 11 days straight and got thurs-Friday off and then worked Saturday and today. Now I got Monday and Tuesday off and will work solid days until the 25th, when I head to PITTSBURGH COMIC CON!!!

Man, I am soooo jazzed for that show. I got a TON of new art pieces to premiere. A new one shot comic (THE EXPENDABLES) and a lot of my pals will be there, as well as a couple people I really have been wanting to meet. Amanda Conner will be there. She is one of my top 5 artists currently working right now. I hope I can score a sketch or some comments on my art from her. Also, Brian from GHOST HUNTERS is someone I hope to chat with. I’ve become a big fan of that show in the last year. Plus, I got my buddies I plan on seeing. And it’s the 30th Anniversary of DAWN OF THE DEAD and 15th Anniversary of the Convention itself. Tons going on. Charity Auctions, prizes, giveaways, comics, art, scalping dealers, new people to meet, fans to chat with, da woiks!

I only got to hit ONE CON last year and that was Pittsburgh. It’s a 7 hour drive for me, but its worth it. I love the show. It’s a great location and we’re all really well treated. Very much looking forward to it.

The wife starts at the new Walgreens tomarrow. She’ll be gone all day and so I can get some drawing done. I am hoping to get the bulk of the Pleasant Life penciling finished hopefully by Wednesday so I can just ink, ink, ink! I did a lot of work today and I also did a new 11x17 BOBA FETT piece. I am not as much a Star Wars fan as I used to be, so to see me draw something Star Wars related is rare. I have been known to draw a few Slave Leia’s though!

My visit with my son got cancelled so I will spend the next couple days just staying productive. I cleaned the shit out of my office and just plan on rockin’ it for the next few days. Just trying to calm the dreams of Pittsburgh Con coming up in my head. Trying not to stay so rock hard about it. But let me tell you, I am erect. I think I’ll blow soon!

Motor City STILL hasn’t updated their site. Also, Wizard World was sent my money for the June show. They’ve yet to take it. As soon as they do, I’ll let you know.

I plan on taking a lot of pictures and some AUDIO at the Pittsburgh show so I can post it on an episode of the IDIOTHEAD PODCAST. Coming soon!
