Dancing (and Tired) Days....

Oi me droogies. Same old, same old. Nuthin' too new.

Since the podcast on tuesday, I've been busy working and drawing. I've pencilled nine more pages this week on OUTCAST and am in the process of inking them. I hope to maybe have them done by next tuesday so you all can see them. I highly suggest downloading the last episode of THE AMATUER HOUR on talkshoe cause we chat about those pages, and Anthony gives a really awesome chat about CONFLICT in WRITING. Stuff that often gets overlooked. I thought it was our best show. I cut out here and there, plus toward the end I was gathering my things to go into work, but otherwise it was good stuff. We'll jam out again next tuesday.

I'm awfully tired. My sleep is all out of whack because of being on midnights these past couple of weeks. I got 3 more night shifts and then 3 more day shifts and then 3 days off! I am getting my son during those days and plan to hook up the NES and PS2 for the first time since like, december and play some games. I never get to play anymore. I even bought a few new NES games a while back and haven't played them yet.

The wife and I went to K-zoo yesterday and I found BATMAN ANIMATED SEASON 3 for used on DVD. Also, I got a Paul McCartney CD. 1982's "TUG OF WAR." Also, $25.00 worth of comics. I got Ultimate X-Men 94 (just cause Mark Brooks and Mendoza art), Walking Dead 49, Invincible #50, True Story Swear to God 11, Star Trek, two issues of The Boys, Kick Ass #3 and a Top Shelf sampler. Pretty excited and pumped. Lots o' reading.

The coolest thing we did yesterday was go to BEST BUY in Kalamazoo and see their new IMAC display. I checked out the MAC we're saving up for. MAN! ITS IT KILLER!!!!! I think I made what artist Grant Gould would refer to as "a cum-coon" in my pants. It is completely awesome. I cannot wait to get this computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Donations please. I'm available for commissions and I still got tons of comics to sell and get rid of!!! :)

Things are shaping up for WWChicago in less than two weeks. I decided to invite my pal Brian Maze (www.monkeygoatboy.com) to split my table with me there and I'm pretty excited. We met and hung out at this past Pittsburgh Con and we get along pretty well. I am also excited to have a drinking buddy now too! So, we'll be representin' in artist alley in two weeks, rockin' out. For those going, I'm crashing with my pal Brett Pinson and his pals at the Embassy, attached to the con via the skywalk. So come on out and see me there! If you are there, we'll hang.

I am gonna finish these pages and the around 8 others I've thumbnailed out last night and then take a break to get things ready for the convention. I may do a couple more 11x17 pre-sale commission pieces for the show. If anyone is interested at a commission at the show, go ahead and contact me now and I can start it and bring it to the show. Either post here or email me at: phymns@yahoo.com

So, still survivin'. Just sick of working late. Drop by my myspace page or post some thoughts here or on my DEVIANTART page, or for free in my website forum and lemme know whats going on with you.

Cheers me droogies.
