I just wanted to throw a shout out to Lynn Johnson for finishing her run on the syndicated comic: FOR BETTER OR WORSE.
Alot of pals of mine have ripped on her, saying she's not funny, or a bitch in person, all sorts of other random comments. I for one, have been a fan of the comic strip since the late 80's. I even remember when Farley bit the big one while saving young April from that river (god that was a sad week!). I think its quite an accomplishment for her to do this strip for almost 30 years. At one point it was even a cartoon series as well.
I do know that her strip is semi-autobiographical, and I can relate to that as well. Lynn is a powerhouse in the syndicated market of cartoonists, part of that old time method and I think she deserves our admiration and respect. I grew up with Michael and Elizabeth (Lizard Breath) and stuck with the strip through its most loving and most cheezy moments.
Congrats Lynn Johnson on a job well done. I'm glad that its being re-run so that we can relive it all over again.
