That kid stomping around upstairs of our apartment is the anti-Christ, I am sure of it....

SATURDAY—

I wake up around 10 am and get up to check email. I then do some diddling around the internet until everyone is up. Once Ted is up, we assemble the new Crib successfully. (after a bit of swearing on my part) We toss out the old boxes and things and clean up, triumphant.

We order Pizza as I start to sketch a new marker piece featuring Mortin and Kelly. I finish it and update some blogs and deviantart site. I also make an announcement about my new commission rates. Then I struggle to get going, inking my Outcast Pages.

I diddle around watching THE OFFICE season 2, and then finally start inking. Around 11pm, I finish the last page and finally am caught up with my pages. I go watch Family Guy with Kelly till I pass out around midnight.

SUNDAY—

I wake up around 10. Shane calls and says he and Sara and the Evanator are coming over for a quick visit. We tidy up the house a bit, getting rid of anything dangerous a toddler might want to put in his mouth and wait. I start sketching thumbnails of the next Outcast pages.

Around noon, they arrive and we have a good ol’ time. They got us a lot of presents for the baby and gave us some stuff they are not using anymore. We sit and chat and have a good visit. Finally, Kelly leaves for work and they leave shortly thereafter. Shane borrows my Invincible and Walking Dead issues to read at home.

I start sketching out the next 10-15 Outcast pages and then quick pencil 4 pages. I tighten the pencils on one of the splash pages which fully reveals a character I wrote but never had a design for. I was so happy with it, that I mostly inked her right there. (see her below in previous post). I’m very happy with how she turned out. She’s a modern nomad type of character, wise and full of action. I think girls can look up to her. That’s my goal anyway.

I get done drawing around 10:00 when Kelly comes home. On the portable DVD player all day, I work through some movies I have yet to finish… The rest of THE OFFICE season 2, BRAM STOKERS DRACULA and CAT PEOPLE. I diddle around on the net till midnight, listening to the MIGHTYSABO show for a while while doodling. Finally around midnight I drop off the show and head to bed, passing out quickly to old South Park episodes.
