Man, he looks mean and evil like Sylar! This was the first shot I've ever seen of the "new and updated" uniforms. They look damn cool. Still a homage to the original series but updated and neat looking. Very expected and I am satisfied.
However....
This is a shot of the new ENTERPRISE bridge. I must say, I am kind of dissapointed in this. I had hoped that it would be homage to the original, but of course, updated. This is COMPLETELY updated and different. I guess I'll have to see how the film unfolds, but if you take continuity into consideration, and say nothing has been changed in the timeline, the Bridge of the Enterprise should not look like this at all.
I cannot mask my dissapointment fully, but I am trying to keep an open mind. There's many more months to come till the film is released. Maybe this is the bridge tehy start out with and then the Enterprise gets damaged so bad that they have to redesign it, and it goes to that familiar 60's look. I have hopes of that. Or maybe this pic is misleading and this is a different ships bridge. (sigh)
Anyway, this is still an exciting time to be a Star Trek fan. A new trailer will be released within the next month. I can say this much, as a longtime hardcore Star Trek fan.....Next year cannot come fast enough for me!
