That "CENTERFOLD" video has bouncing girls in lingerie having a pillowfight... groovy.

Two of my cats, doing "ASS TO ASS."

You ever get that feeling like, “Yeah. I did it.” Well, that’s how I feel when I completed EXPENDABLES 2 the other night. Granted I stayed up long hours and only got 3-4 hours of sleep two days in a row, but I completed the work. Not that I am all big and bad or what not, but I just think its important that once in a while, a person needs to take a step back and say “yeah…” Bask in the knowledge that you kept your word and did the work. It s a little victory to be celebrated.

I really wouldn’t have had a problem finishing the work if it weren’t for a certain Mr. SCOTTY, I CRY WHEN AWAKE! Tee hee. I was hoping to get a nap in today and some drawing done, but mommy went back to work today for the first time and I am on diaper duty. He gave me two big poopy diapers and while changing the second one, he decided to fire aft torpedos and dampen my shirt I was wearing with pee. So yeah, for the first time in my life (outside of an S&M club), I’ve been peed on. Quite exhilarating. I feel alive.

Right now he’s sitting in front of VH1 classic, watching POP UP VIDEO of the 80’s. I plan to get him in tune with cool music right here out of the gate. So far, its working. He’s mezmorized by the images and music. Sometimes I hum or sing softly to him and he stops crying to stare at me. I think he likes music! No wonder considering who his parents are. Next: STAR TREK, HE-MAN and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!

I lied about taking a break after finishing EXPENDABLES 2. I ended up penciling two new OUTCAST pages that night because I couldn’t sleep. I’m trying to get some inking done on those pages in between having to get up to replace the pacifier in Scotty’s mouth every 5 minutes. Oh well. It could be MUCH worse!

I’m glad the wife has gone back to work. I know she was feeling pretty shut in by not being able to get out as much cause of the baby. So now, we’re working and watching him in shifts. Its lonely here without her to talk to. I wish I could stay home with him 24/7. I would NEVER feel like I wanted to return to work! Not in the slightest.

So the plan the rest of this week is to catch up on sleep and get used to the new routine with wife/wor/sleep/baby/comic art. Wish me luck with that.
