Ballz.

A pic of TRANSATLANTIC reunited and working on their new album this past early April.

Man, I'm tired and all outta wack. Of course my sleep is all jacked up as a result of working nights and the kid keeping me up while the wife is at work. Its tough to juggle. But also at work, there are call ins and it seems I'm the only one there to do everything. I come home sore as holy hell. This past week of that wasn't too bad though. But usually, its tough as shit. Maybe I am getting used to the physical abuse or maybe I ain't pushing quite as hard as I first did. Either way, I'm not complaining. Its all good for me. Keeps me working and walking. I'm developing arm muscles from lifting and all that. Now if we could get the finances in line, we could afford "good for you" food and I'd actually drop some weight! lol Right now, I NEED the caffine in sodas to keep me awake and alert for work. Its a vicious cyclic thing. But I'm surviving. I should be going to day shifts toward the end of May. These next two weeks I work nights again. somehow the boat will right itself.

On the comics front: I have been getting an increase in online orders and commisisons and I want to thank you all for that. Please, keep it up! I got the work in me and the time to do it! Like I just got hired for 3 commissions and got them done within three days. I'm that dedicated to getting what you need quickly and full of quality. Oh yeah!

I finished the 45 pages I had scanned for word balloons on OUTCAST. The rest of the pages needed to be touched up or some panels redone here and there. I'm redoing a couple pages tonight actually. I'll make copies and scan 40 more this week. If all goes well, I hope to premiere the book at Pittsburgh. If not, I'll just have to keep plugging at it and release it late or early next year. Bascially its a factor of time, money to print it and impact. I would like some working copies to shop around at San Diego, but that at this point seems to be a longshot. UNLESS I can get a good week to work hard on it and get it done. but the kid is growing, becoming more demanding and thus, you know.. Well, you parents know how it is. Trust me, I'm not using him as an excuse. Oftentimes he's sitting here on my desk in his chair while daddy works. But he wants attention and you gotta be attentive. Or else you start to hear "Cats in the cradle" in your head. ;)

MAY should be a cool month. I got a store sigining in Taylor, MI on the 2nd where EXPENDABLES #2 is going to debut. We got the new TREK movie as well. Then I'm going to MOTOR CITY CON on Sunday the 17th to hang out and meet Col. Tigh from BSG. Then I just plan to keep plugging on Outcast and this other couple projects I got to bring as pitches to San Diego. Also, will pay for PLEASANT LIFE printing in time for release in June. Sometime in May, Tim Fischer is coming up to show me the ropes on digital coloring and I know that will open up my game pretty hardcore. Plus, I finally will get to switch to dayshift at work. Yeah!

So exciting things on the horizon. Just gotta keep plugging away at working at it all.

Thats your update.
