Buttery Goodness....

I posted some of my prints recently and have been getting lots of positive feedback on them everywhere. Thanks a lot folks!

Reviews for WISE INTELLIGENCE are coming in all over the place. Overall, the comments are quite positive. We were on AINTITCOOL.com today and that’s quite a deal! Ryan and I defiantly plan to team up again in the future and one up what we’ve done with this mini-series.

I’ve aquired a steady stream of commissions as of late, and I greatly appreciate it! It seems that me stretching myself all over the internet and at cons have now started to greatly pay off! I’m always accepting commission and currently can pump a few more out before convention season. If you are going to be at an upcoming show I will be at (check APPEARANCES at Idiothead.com) and want to pick it up from me there, you can do so. Just email me ahead of time and I’ll accept payment over paypal and bring the piece with me to the show. That will save on time spent on the commission at the show and you are not hanging around waiting.

This week I hope to take the wife to see STAR TREK, as I am aching to see it again. We’ll have to drop off Scott for his first babysitter. We’ll have to find one first. We got a few leads on people we know. It sucks sometimes that we live in a town where we know no one but co-workers!

This weekend is the Motor City Comic Con. I won’t have a table there but I will be hanging out on Sunday. I gotta run into and say hi to all the friends there and I MUST score a pic and autograph from Col. Tigh from BSG. Necessary. I’m looking forward to it cause it will be Scotty’s first con! Lots of lights to look at! Also, it’s always great to see the friends there. Brett and I are no doubt gonna nail down some more ideas and things about EXPENDABLES #2. So much more. Looking forward to it. Gotta survive the work week first.

I know I’m late to the table here but I am really falling for the work of ADAM HUGHES. Duh right? Yeah, I’ve always thought his art was great, but I’m starting to learn more about the man and his personality and I totally dig the type of person he is. He’s my kind of people. I guess that goes a long way with me when I get into a person’s work. After all their work is a reflection of them and their personality right? Makes sense. I’m hoping to meet him this year and chat a bit of TREK with him, apparently he’s game. But also, I’m going back and digging on his artwork. Its excellent shit, man!

I think that’s all that’s on my mind right now. Just paying off bills, saving $$ for shows this year and I’m looking to upgrade and buy some newer, decent art supplies and change my game a bit for the better. I’m evolving as an artist and I cannot stop!

Cheers, T
