Three Weeks to Go....

Well, some new developments to talk about.

--I finished all the prints I wanted to work on. My mattes should be here monday and then its taping them, sealing them together. I'm quite proud of the results that I got doing them. Its good to push myself sometimes, and do something completely different than I normally do. If nothing else, I filled up my Deviantart page a bit and got some nice practice coloring and making new pieces for fanart type of things. You'll see all of them at HEROES.

--Speaking of which, I am balls out excited about my first convention appearance for the year. My plan is to hang with my friends, meet new ones, sell the shit out of my new shit and just rock the fuck out. Gonna enjoy myself. The above photo is a convention floor. Makes me nostalgiac. Three weeks to go.

--I chatted with my managers and apparently I will be off nights when I get back from HEROES, and back to 3-4 days a week! Which is awesome. I can get my sleep pattern and my family life back. That would be nice... to feel like a human again.

--Scotty crawled full speed for the first time today. So proud. A tad worried cause I wasn't ready for him to do that yet. So now we gotta childproof the house a bit more.

I am done with prints and things, so I am taking the next 3 weeks off of drawing to spend time with the family, catch up on fun things I keep putting off and more. I'll still do commissions if hired for one, but I just plan to take it easy before my wife hates me and Scott starts playing "Cats in the Cradle" for me as I draw and he's alone. Tee hee! Anyway, I'll post more later, but I gotta eat and go off to work.
