The Wait

Kid woke me up at 6:40am today. Pretty tired and bored, so you get a blog.

I cannot believe that in less than a month, I'll be on a plane headed to California. First time ever there. Its overwhelming. Crazy. So "not me." but I'm excited and nervous. About the plane ride, about making things connect, about seeing my friends again, etc. I got lots to finish before that. Some submission shit I intend to pitch out there. Plus a new 4 page commission to complete in the next week. work.

Speaking of work, I'm on days finally. Its interesting how different it is. Busier, and everyone is sorta "set" in their ways and if you go outside of what they like or prefer, they go apeshit. So I've had to learn everyone's nuances and try not to step on anyone's toes in that regard. Also, I've noticed that alot of the customers around the area are extremely moody and mean. Very snotty and impatient. NOTHING pisses me off more than rude people. There's no call for it. ITs not what we need. Its not what I need really. But what are you gonna do? Oh well. Beats working nights on no sleep and doing EVERYTHING! That routine got old real damn fast. I can get used to this at least.

Boy I'm tired. I actually went to bed after work last night hoping to catch alot of sleep. But no, Scott woke me up today at 6:40. Ten minutes after the wife headed to work. (sigh) Maybe he'll drop into a nap soon. That would be sweet!

Anyway, off to watch Tv, and wait for the bot to pass out asleep again. If I am lucky. I gotta work later tonight, and will be dog tired if he doesn't.
