COMIC CON day 2

Wake up early and meet Andy Chang in the elevator! I arrive there at 7:40 in the morning and take pics. I snap off quite a few of the empty floor before being caught by security and asked to wait outside till the show opens. I sit in the lobby and talk to a couple fine folks about the show and my work too. Hopefully hear from them again. 9:30-am let in and I work my way from one end to the other, hitting the booths I intended to hit. I bought most of my stuff that day too. I dropped off submission packets and talked with editors. Got some feedback on my art and stories and shook alot of hands. We'll see what happens! While at the AP booth, I run into Jenny, my old co-worker. It was great to see her! She says her hubby will stop by tomorrow.

I pick up a $4.00 soda and sit. Lloyd Kaufman isn't there yet, so I head to the rest of the show. See Tom Jane at the RAW booth. See Mark Brooks, Grant, Jason and his pals at the Superreal booth too. By 2pm, I've got fatboy sweat going on and it hurts to walk. So I head to the hotel and ralphs on the way. I run into Ted Rami in the lobby and we chat a bit. Nice guy! I relax and rest til 7pm. Also watch 2 episodes of "HUNG" on HBO. Great show.

Grant calls me and we meet at the Marriott for drinks and shop talk. We go into deep waters and it feels good to open up about fears and dreams. Its great. Brian joins us and we all go to the Hyatt for drinks. On the way out, I run into all the podcast folks. Walters, Brooks, Jaime, Jim Daly, and then LEE shows up and fake humps my ass. Man was he drunk! Anyway, after getting my fill and chatting with everyone there for a while, I head back and Brian and I take the long route home, going past the fake carnival set up for TV's HEROES and up the Gaslamp street. After doing that and hurdling bums and urine spills, we pass out by 3am.
