A hobbit in another life...

I was re-reading some of my older posts a few minutes ago. Man how far I've come, and yet not! I also was re-reading a couple of my notorious longer motivational/introspective posts. You know, the ones where I open myself with a knife and expose my inner thoughts and feelings about me, my work, those I care for, etc. Call it my philosophy of motivation and overcoming the inner demons. Whatever.

I do at times seem to be too deep or heavy hearted in what I write here. but really, I am just being open and honest. Its how I think. I prefer to be open and honest in everything I do. If I hold back, then I feel like its not really coming from me.

I know that this blog is supposed to remain entertaining for you folks to come to and get away from your day. So I do try to post fun things, sneak peeks of my work and my day to day happenings. I try to keep you all entertained. But I think its great to toss some motivation your way as well. So forgive me if I do seem at times too "deep" in my posts.

Anyway, the last couple days have flown by. I got a couple more pages done between Wednesday-Thursday bringing my page total to almost ten so far on the new project. I will upload pics soon. I went to the copy place yesterday to make the copies for it, but it was unexplicably closed. Maybe monday then. Or if I can convince the wife to take me to Office Max today. We'll see what the plans are later. I need more Bristol paper too!

Last night the wife and I took a break and played more video games. I also checked out XBOX LIVE briefly and talked to shane on it. The wife and I basically beat LEGO INDY JONES. We got 94%, so thats not bad. Just a couple minor things missed. Like "TRUE ADVENTURER" on 4 different levels. I can live with missing it though. So whats next for the wife and I? LEGO STAR WARS? (sigh) I dunno. Actually, we were eyeing Lego BATMAN! :)

Well, just put the bots down for a nap. I'm gonna take advantage and join him for some shut eye. Later on, I'll watch more Seinfeld season 9, then go out with the wife for grocieries and things. Then a bit of drawing. Work tomorrow night. Sabo show on monday. The wife leaves monday night till thursday night for work related classes. I got all that time off so I plan to take advantage of the nights she's gone and get alot of drawing done. Finish my auction pieces for Pittsburgh and more pages. Yeah!

Cheers, T
