Today marks the two year anniversary of the passing of one of my favorite artists: Mike Wieringo. The comics haven't been the same for me since. I never knew him personally, but know many of his friends who have nothing but great things to say about him. When we lose one of our artistic brothers, we all feel it. Still miss your work Mike.
On another note, I just read this:

Clayton Hill from Dawn of the Dead passed away in July. Total bummer. Saw him at several shows and met him a couple of times. Never shied away from talking about shooting on DAWN. He and his wife Sharon played famous zombie roles in the film and are staples of every horror con I can think of. They were always representing at Pittsburgh too. (home of the DAWN OF THE DEAD mall shooting location) They sold prints, photos and actual props from the film. I sat in on a panel with him too. Such a nice, sweet dude. Major bummer.
In other news, pages are progressing.
I was on my way to pick up my son when a semi blew a tire and it rolled into my path. I swerved to avoid the bouncing rolling tire but I ran over it. It cracked the bumper and dislodged the tire cover. Effectively, the whole part has to be replaced. $500. Yay for semis. 1,000,000 to 1 chances. DAMMIT!
Anyway, The Codester is here so back at it.
Luvs, T
