RIP Ginty and random stuff.

Just learned that one of my favorite B movie actors has died of cancer. Robert Ginty, star of my beloved post-apocolyptic film favorite: “Warrior of the Lost World.” That sucks man, cause I was hoping to actually get to meet him one day and have a chat about Warrior! Dammit. Now him, Persis and Donald are dead. Fred Williamson is still with us isn’t he? Man, now I’m bummed out.

I discovered WARRIOR thanks to my pal Dean, who loaned me his MST3K tapes and that was the first one I watched. I fell in love with it. I love the movie and the MST ripping of it. Now, I'm on a mission to track down THE EXTERMINATOR. RIP Robert Ginty. You were more than a B movie actor. Also a director, artist and much more. I so wanted to meet you sir.

In other news:

Somehow, I got signed up for a Maxim subscription. I've called them twice when they've tried to mail me a bill, and I told them I never signed up. They say it’s cancelled, but I get another issue and then another bill to go along with it. Are they just trying to see if people are dumb enough to just go ahead and subscribe? Are magazines that desperate? My thoughts are that I was at an FYE, and maybe they signed me up on accident. You know, how they offer you 8 free issues of such and such magazine when you check out? Yeah. That crap. Well, if I were to subscribe to any magazine, Maxim wouldn't be one of them. The only magazines I read and should probably subscribe to are: Filmfax, Horrorhound, Doctor Who Magazine and Piss Drinkers.

But seriously, have you read Maxim? It’s a crap magazine. Like this one I got today has a list of the top 13 scariest movies. and NO HORROR MOVIES are mentioned! and one of them is "About Schmidt" just for the Kathy Bates nude scene. “Like, ew, she's a fatty, so its such a scary movie!" The fucks.

Got the new Megadeth “ENDGAME” Cd. Been a long time since I’ve bought a Megadeth album. The last one was 1997’s “CRYPTIC WRITINGS” I think. I'll dissect it tonight while working.
