Who is a Jackass?

Hello all. Been working through post-con funk. Knowing 1-That con season is over and it will be a long 7 months before I venture out again. 2-Gathering my thoughts from the year's travels, what I learned and how to implement it. and 3-being tired and slightly ill. Yeah, tired today. I took a 4 hour nap. Unlike me to do that, but I am just feeling run down. And here I am ready to get work done and feeling sorta run down and uninspired. But we got a show tonight and that will keep my head in the game. I got pages to finish after all.

Got the newest Doctor Who special DVD. Also picked up Secret Life of a Call Girl. And The Beatles' Revolver. Just some treats from my Pittsburgh Money. The rest is going to art supplies and printing. Gotta self control and put that in the damn bank!

This whole Obama calling Kanye a jackass is funny. I mean, we all think it. Right? Of course, people say that its "un-president-like." Which I can see. But again, the president is just a man. and he has opinions just like every other asshole. I'm down with what he said. In fact, I like him more for it. If Bush had said the same thing, I woulda bumped him up a few points in my book. He didn't go too far I think. I mean, he coulda called him a "fuckin' piece of shit mother fucking dick lick of a no-talent hack fuck" and maybe, that woulda been too far.

This whole thing reminds me of the Britney Spears concert where her mic was left on and she complained and bitched about her costume, the crowd and the dumbass people playing her music through the loud speaker for her to lipsink through. Calling everyone in the crowd "fucking dumb" and things. Remember that? How quickly that was buried, eh? And what about Christian Bale's Terminator breakdown? Its all nuts man.

Look, when you deal with celebrities (and I know a thing or two about it), you realize taht they are people, just like you and me. Just cause they are in front of a camera doesn't make them perfection. In fact, they are less examples of perfection of humanity than yourself. Its just people on the pedestal seem bigger. Well, news for ya, and I hope it never happens to you, but celebrities can break down and get pissed. I've seen it happen. I've heard absolute horror stories. So there ya go.

In other words, CHILL OUT FUCKERS!

I don't think Obama is at fault for stating an opinion, and it was a nice way of putting the stunt that Kanye pulled anyway. I can think of far more colorful metaphors. Nor do I think any of the newspeople twittering his comments off the air were at fault. I'd twitter that shit too, cause its damn hilarious! Makes him seem more "human" to me, than when people put him up to this christ-like stature when he was elected. Like he was going to save us. Nope. He said it himself. He's human and will make mistakes. We all do. Its part of being human.

So that said, can't we just laugh that he's on our side? Kanye is a jackass. Who cares anyway about that fuck? Lets move on and stop dealing with stupid shit.

Whoa. That was a rant and a half. I better quit while I'm ahead. See? you get me sparked on something.... Whew!
