Made Turkey, Potatoes, Dumplings and Biscuits for the wife and bots. We wrapped some presents for the kids. Cleaned up the house a bit and just vegged out. Went to bed early and got a decent amount of ten hours of sleep. Amazing. Cause usually I get around 4-5 hours of sleep.
Went out shopping for my first BLACK FRIDAY today. Of course, I didn't go out early a.m. and stand in line for a $99 Laptop or anything. But just went out at like 10am to Best Buy for some DVD deals. The wife and I scored quite a bit. I got Zack and Miri on DV for $4.00 (never seen it, so I'll give a report later), and my two Bluray purchases: STAR TREK 2 and GHOSTBUSTERS. I popped em in to see the upgrade quality and man... let me tell you... I'm TOTALLY sold on the power of Bluray. These films transfers look A-MAZ-ING! Wonderful! Incredible! Outstanding! So if you are on the fence about taking on a Bluray, note that I give it the full thumbs up. I will not REBUY all my discs though. UNLESS-the BR has expanded new bonus content. I may only rebuy films that I watch very often. STAR TREK, natch.
Other than that, just getting work done, cleaning house and maintaining life as normal. Passing out some holiday love for ya'll.
