Anna Pocalypse is different than anything I have ever done. Its gory, uber violent, gross, disturbing, whitty, funny, action packed and just plain awesome. Its got tons of stuff you want with a lot of subtext about faith, religion, symbols of armageddon and much much more. I hope to delve more deeply into the concepts behind it in a full length audio commentary once the book ships. And see me take a bullet to the head in the book! Lots of fun.
This ends a year and change of a journey that started at San Diego 2009, where I first sketched Anna and came up with the title. All this time later, she's done and ready to rock your world. She's certainly rocked mine. I am very proud of the work I have done in the book and I cannot wait for you all to see it in its complete form. Some of you got a taste in the first toss out issue #1, (which is SOLD OUT btw, and will not be reprinted like that again!). So you know what you are in for. Its the first book I have colored all myself. Its my new baby after my long running PLEASANT LIFE series. Its a different cookie, but still my child. Very proud dad at this moment folks. I cannot wait till it comes off the truck, complete!
Okay, I guess thats it. I got more work to do. Commissions, sketch card work and oh... the NEXT project after ANNA!!!!! Here we go!
