Da work piles up, so does da money!

Hey folks. Taking a break in-between doing a ton of stuff in my office today. I cleaned house a bit and moved a few things around. Tossed some more stuff and vacuumed. Just putting some good clean vibes into my personal space. Dig? Tonight and tomorrow I will be up late in an effort to finish new commissions and what not. I don't have a lot of work hours next week so I plan on taking advantage of that and getting stuff done! Also, the wife will be gone outta town next weekend so no distractions maybe. We'll see what happens.

I'm busy putting stuff together for the artbook and doing more work on Secret Project X in the meantime between commissions. Its slow going cause the commissions are so work heavy. But I am getting them all done, rest assured. I also hope to get Anna done this next week for good and off my plate. My TO DO list is massive. And now I got another thing for an old friend to layout in Indesign for him by Monday as well.

Listened to the NFL playoffs today. Both my teams lost! So hmmmn... Its gonna be an interesting Playoffs for me.

Sent out final bill for the old apartment lease fee we got stuck with, so thats off our back. Now to knock out the amount due back to unemployment. Then cards. Oh yes. Debt free by the end of 2011 is my goal!

Yesterday the wife insisted I get out of the house after I went and got some more art supplies so I went up north to Mt. Pleasant and got my pal Jon. We went to Midland and looked around at Barnes and Noble. Then went out to see my brother play in his bar band at the 702 in Midland, MI. I haven't seen my brother Tony in five/six years. It was good to see him again. It was a total surprise that I popped in to see the band. It felt good to reconnect with him after all this time. Us brothers are not too close. We sort of all have our own thing going and are somewhat from different generations. But Tony and I are quite similar in many respects. A love of classic films and sci fi and rock and roll. Plus he's a musician as I have dabbled in. We talked a lot about music and stuff and even some family personal stuff. All in all, it was just great to reconnect with him and I am glad I went. I hope we get to do more together in the future.

But now, playtime is over for me. Back to the grind and its gonna be hardcore for the next week. Internet, keep away from me!

BUT, fret not! I got some new stuff online now for you to check out. For example, a mini "interview" I did regarding all things 2010-11 that you can read HERE And you can download and listen to my idiothead.com podcast featuring my new segment: LIVE DRUNKEN DVD COMMENTARY! We did "The Room" and "Batman and Robin" so far. Its the wife and I and some select chatroom members watching a film and providing a commentary track to the movie that you can sync up and we've also made it a drinking game! Drink along with us! We get pretty sloshed, so its a good time by all. Download those episodes and past ones HERE (Note: You will need to create a talkshoe.com login to participate because its of a "mature" language. But its free!!!)

I guess thats it. Off to work with me!
