Off to a slow start to 2011.

Hey everyone. I've started the new job this week and its quite a great place. I think I've caught on quite well, as much of it is very similar to the old job from two years ago. My co-workers are great to get along with and its a fun environment to be in. It feels good to get out of the house for a change as well! I got a long shift tonight and looking forward to it.

On the flipside of that, I am sort of in a rut as far as being productive art-wise. I got some major commissions I gotta get finished in the next week and I have barely touched the two biggest ones. I am hoping that the artistic fire will start burning in me soon to get rocking on them. Cause you know, I have to! I got the paper in front of me. All I gotta do is just start on them. But they are so involved and take a lot of work. So the task is daunting. But it can be done. Must be done. By this weekend.

I haven't really touched other projects at all this week. Just been feeling drained for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe lack of decent sleep. I try to grab a quick nap during the day but the kid gets into all sorts of mischief and it really does no good for it all. I just need something to spark that fire and get 2011 projects rolling before I become covered in them so high that I cannot get out! Wish me luck.

But again, thats a great problem to have isn't it? That you got so much to do, rather than nothing! I've been there, with years of nothing to do. Trying to find stuff to do. And now I've got too much! Feels good I must say.

Anyway, I got no complaints. Just wish me luck that I get the ball rolling in my head soon. And I will wish you luck in your new year! Take care folks!
