Welcome back my little droogies!
Found this picture today:
Its of a great snowstorm that hit the Lansing, MI area the week I was born in January. My dad tells the tale of when he had to go to the hospital the night I was born, he had to park a couple miles away from Sparrow Hospital and walk through thick snow. Nice to see a pic of it after hearing that story all my life. And now, 33 years later, we will get hit with 10-15 inches of snow tonight! We stocked up on food yesterday just to be sure we would be okay. I don't have to get out of the house till Saturday for work, so we should be good. The wife however does have to go to work so its a good thing we got 4 wheel drive in our jeep. Just sayin.
After one solid week of productivity, I took this weekend off mostly. I watched movies all of Saturday and hung out with the kid and wii bowl/boozed with the wife on Sunday. Yesterday I did Sabo show at night and I can never work during that show it seems, cause I am reading lists, doing news, etc. So for the next 3-4 days, I intend to get HEAVY into work. I got new commisions I was just hired for, overseas and not. Also, I just got the unfortunate news this morning that there's a problem with fonts not embeddening in the ANNA trade at the printer. So I have to pull out my master files and redo some pages. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours work and I'll have it re-uploaded by tonight. Then I will crank out some of the commissions. I am also behind on Project X and Lingerie Massacre pages. So wish me luck folks. I need a couple good days of productivity. Gonna cook din din for the wife today and tomorrow but other than that, I am gonna try to stay hardcore productive. I need a good couple days to catch back up on work.
After that, I am assembling the new artbook. I got the first 16 pages done and laid out nicely. And the cover is colored, so thats a start! So many projects to do, so little time!
Did our taxes as well. We're getting a nice healthy chunk back, which will help pay bills down. Very good! Things are getting brighter by the day I must admit. Feels nice! Also, I determined that I will not be in Taylor, MI for FCBD this year. Likely I am going to set up something in Lansing or Ann Arbor. Keep your eyes peeled for details. However my appearance at DALLAS COMIC CON in May is really shaping up! Some great guests are coming. Including one of my favorite artists, Amanda Conner, Leonard Nimoy and Stan Lee! You're not gonna want to miss this show! Its gonna be great!!!
Well, that about does it for now. I will show pics of my productivity this week I hope. Its rare I show any "process" pics anymore. But you'll get plenty of that in the upcoming artbook! Tease, tease. Till next time, ORDER ANNA POCALYPSE GN and keep your eyes peeled for whats next!
Luvs, T
