Hey everyone.
I've been getting tons of feedback, messages, emails and love for the GN of ANNA POCALYPSE from a good majority of those who ordered it. Seems if this was Rotten Tomatoes, it certainly would be in the 99% range as "FRESH AS HELL!" People are loving it. And I absolutely appreciate the kind words my friends. ANNA was certainly an interesting and completely different project than I ever have done before. It had a lot of heart and subtext to it. There's a couple things I would change about it of course (you can hear details of what that is in the OFFICIAL COMMENTARY TRACK that you can download for free at my podcast right HERE) But overall, I am very pleased with its outcome. And the fact that you fine folks seemed to enjoy the hell out of it. I am humbled by it.
I am also fueled by it to make ANNA II the best it possibly can be. I worked on six pages for it this week. Anna is back and she's badder than ever. I am so excited to draw whats coming, I cannot stand it. I do mean it, that this is the one people will remember me for. Its huge, epic, and bloody. You won't believe it. Anna's going to war and we get to sit and watch!
Seems each year my work gets more and more recognized. Every year I get more "little victories" and more success. As an indie guy, doing this all himself, its a dream come true. I never dreamed when I started this back in 1994, that I'd be doing this right now. And I know I got worlds to go as far as goals and reaching more people with it. I just am in awe that you folks love it so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now, I better get back to drawing Anna II. She's looking at me kinda angry, and she's packing. I've seen what she's capable of! Never a good thing to keep a lady waiting...
