2012 Plans....

To clarify yesterdays' announcement and also to sorta refine my short term goals and what you can expect from me coming soon. This shall answer all your questions.

ARTBOOK: On hold for the time being. It did not get funded through Kickstarter and I now believe it was for a reason. So I am holding off and probably waiting a couple years down the road to my 20th anniversary in comics to do it. By then I will have even more impressive art to put into it and perhaps have gained a larger audience in which to sell to initially. So its in the works, but a ways off.

PLEASANT LIFE: Next year is the 10th Anniversary of my long series. Book #4 is on sale now at my ONLINE STORE. But books #1-3 have been sold out for a long time. I had considered doing a new collection for them and put them all together. I have no idea of the interest for something like that. It would be well over 350 pages, black and white and smaller than book #4. Closer to the Strangers in Paradise smaller book collections with everything ported over from the old versions. Problem is, one of the books' files is on a zip disc and I cannot get at the files with my current set up. I am not 100% sure where they are or what condition they are in. I know that the art is old as hell and something I cannot stand to look at. But I don't want to be all George Lucas n'shit with it. So: if its something you do want to see, let me know and I will work on getting it collected in time for the anniversary year. If I don't do that, maybe something else. But that seems the best bet. Give me your feedback and let me know what you want to see. My mind is open at this point for everything but a new story.

ANNA POCALYPSE 2: Still working on it. I am 45 pages in and have halted from time to time. I was hoping to get really far on it the month of October. I still ballpark it to be complete for a March/April release in time for convention season. It will be 120 pages, full color like last time. Way bloodier.

NOVELS: Last time I announced I am working on a horror novel I am calling "Lockdown." I hope to have a first draft done by the beginning of next year. I will shop it, but probably sell it independently. I also have two other books: One is "IN THE TRENCHES" that I would like to print and sell at some point. The other is a collection of short story Erotica and erotica art. All will see the light of day either 2012 or 2013.

WEBCOMIC: All this year I have been teasing that I am doing a webcomic but keep pushing back the date. My goal right now is to be so far ahead I don't have to worry about running late with it, so it always updates. Right now, I got about 30 strips completed, colored, ballooned, etc. I still have to build the site and thats what is taking the time right now. I need to decide how to do that and what it will look like. It will be a hub site for erotica comic strips, stories, art and more and TOTALLY FREE. No subscriptions. but I am also trying to decide on branding. So while I sort out those details, I continue working on the strips themselves. It will come out but I am waiting for the right time to launch it. I'm guessing early 2012, if not before. All depends on how far I get ahead and feel its right to do it. Could be next month for all I know. Depends. but it will happen. 100%.

CONVENTIONS: I am 100% going to San Diego. No set up there (unless AP wants to give me a couple hours at their table!). But I plan on a return to Motor City and Wizard World Chicago. Beyond that, I'd like to keep focusing on production. I might even finally check out SPACE con and debut ANNA 2 there. We'll see.

OTHER: I am still working on card sets and commissions. Always. I got another card set coming and I'll announce it when I get them and the contract to do it. I should have return cards for WALKING DEAD that I will sell on ebay. Right now I am considering selling them as "I'll draw you as a zombie" cards on there. We'll see. Beyond that, I am working on a few things for Antarctic Press, including a 4 page backup story. Should be completed this week. I also did some design work for a local video game company but still don't know the results of that arrangement yet. EXPENDABLES #4 with Brett is still a go, but I am waiting for the script from him. I won't even be able to touch it without being complete with ANNA first, so I am expecting next summer sometime. Lastly, the wife and I's all ages book, WARFISH, should be available around April. I haven't started it yet but the art on it will not be too heavily involved so it should run very quickly. Its just a one shot short story with no dialog really. And thats the stuff that takes the longest! So expect that around the same time ANNA 2 drops.

Okay, so thats where everything is at. hope that explains things. Take care!
