The Waves of Regret, Waves of Joy

Morning!

Kickstarter. My Artbook. RIGHT HERE 3 Days to go. We need your support!

This last week I've had my parents up. Its been fun. I took them to Five Guys and they love it. Watched Tombstone together. Did a lot of talking. Thats what I enjoy most about their visits. I showed my dad a bit of what I do as a comic artist. He had no idea it was so involved.

I'm bummed for my wife because her potential for promotion was slimmed down to none for this year. We were kinda hoping that she would get what I feel she wholeheartedly deserves. She's a hard worker and very dedicated at her job. She has a zeal that I used to have, and now have transferred to my art. I know 100% it will come for her. I wish there was some way I could reward her for her efforts. She deserves it. I'm sad that the pieces haven't fell in such a way for her to get what she has earned. Soon though, I feel it will. But for now, the wait and uncertainty sucks.

Some excitement involving the Detroit Lions and football. Counting the end of last season and this preseason, they've won eight games in a row. I love it! I can't wait for the season to start on the 11th. I'll be watching!

My son Scott turned 3 on Thursday. He got up at 3:30 am and as a result the day was kinda ruined cause he was so tired and cranky. We took him to a restaurant and that didn't work out so well. But later on in the night he returned to normal. It was a decent birthday. He got new books, outfits, blocks and a Lightsaber that he picked out himself and now cannot put down. Thats my boy!

I decided that on October 1st, on 24 HOUR COMIC DAY, I will draw for 24 hours straight and broadcast live on the internet. Usually people get together and do something locally and then put it in an anthology. But I will jut sit at home and work on Anna, webstrip and other pages. I'll broadcast live on my ustream page. So you get an inside look at things to come. No doubt I'll be talking alot and then listening to a plethora of music. You'll wanna watch and be vastly entertained! October 1st this year. I got the day off. Come watch me at my REAL job!

Commissions have increased and I've been feeling great. Life is good. I'm anxious about the move, football and more sorting of my stuff. Lots to do. Lots to think about. I hope what has come up for me never goes down. I hope ya'll have the same thing in your lives. :)

Much love, T
