DON'T DO THAT SHIT! Vol 1.

Starting a semi-new segment for the ol' blog here, when I can think of some to type on it. Its called "DON'T DO THAT SHIT!"

The first DON'T DO THAT SHIT is "People who ask for refunds at movie theaters." It makes absolutely no sense. I worked at a movie theater from 1999 to 2001. And in that time, every now and then you'd get some person who paid for a movie, saw it and came out saying the movie sucked and they wanted their money back. Most of the time to shut them up, my boss just refunded their money. That, I don't get. Okay, you are paying for the experience of seeing a film. And if you don't like it, you ask for your money back??? How could that be? You already PAID FOR THE EXPERIENCE!!!! How in the name of holy livin' fuck are you entitled to a refund? If you paid to see the WAR OF THE WORLDS remake and didn't like it, talk to Spielberg. He made it. Maybe HE owes you the money. Or maybe next time you can vote with your dollar and not see a film by Sir Spielbergo. What the frick people?!?! You don't go to a theme park and ride rides all day and then walk out saying you didn't like it and get a refund. That is just crazy. The only way you are entitled to a refund is if the projector or sound breaks down. That's ALL. That's the only stipulation you get. Next time, do some research and pick a better movie if that is your consistent problem. You paid for the electricity to run the heat, cool and projector and house lights. You paid for the employee who cleans up your popcorn after you. You paid for them to sell you the ticket. You're stealing from their wallets too. Don't be a jerk. You paid for the experience, you had it (good or bad) and you gotta live with it. I mean, I went and saw Batman and Robin and walked out. I didn't ask for my money back. It was my stupid mistake to think the movie might have been decent. You got screwed. So next time, vote with your dollars by avoiding the horrible filmmaker or writer or actor who made that crap. Its not the theater's fault. Quit fucking people who don't deserve to get your fucking. In other words, "DON'T DO THAT SHIT!"

Okay, that's done. In other news, 24 days till we move. I've started to continue boxing things and tossing things. Feels liberating. I cannot wait till we finally do move. Very exciting.

My best pal Shane (Idiothead band) is moving back to Michigan as he just scored a job at Dow and so maybe (perhaps) we could see each other once in a while. Would be fun I would think. Let's see if that is in the cards.

Been working a lot of extra shifts at the porn shop for extra $$$ for the move and bills. Artwork is still rolling though. I am hoping to get some stuff done today.

BTW-I had to cancel my 24 hour comic book day drawing plans cause the wife has to work. Maybe next year. :(
