We're a day and a wake up away from the big move. My 22nd move in my life (long story). My brother Tony is coming down to help out and I got a couple local pals gonna come as well as the in-laws to help watch the bots while we get it done. I think it should go smoothly. I plan on taking apart my desk tonight and getting things rolling. I pick up the Uhaul at 7am Tuesday and start loading that bitch up. I hope to be done by 3pm or so. If everyone shows up, it should go according to plan. Lets hope anyway. I cannot wait to unpack and have my life back.
Sorry for the lack of new Idiothead.com podcasts. With the move and other stuff I have been quite busy. Not a bad thing really. But please forgive me nonetheless. Once we get back up and running at the new place, and the office is up and running, then new content will commence. I'm excited for it all. I got projects to get rolling on!!!
I've taken the time this week to watch some comedy specials and other movies on Netflix. Since Breaking Bad ended I am sorta lost for new cool things to watch. I might give that American Horror Story a try. Also there is a new Walking Dead on tonight. Always exciting. I hope to get some nice reading done as well. I got that HOBBIT I want to re-read and the DRAGONS OF AUTUMN TWILIGHT Dragonlance book I keep picking up and then losing my place in. Gonna get my headspace right so I can start on my own novel. Will likely start on that once I get my old stuff uploaded and possibly released as a digital book and printed book. Look for that early next year. We'll see. I got no demands or time table for anything. Just going as I go. However I have sorta finalized plans to go to HEROES CON in Charlotte, NC next year again. I skipped this year but I am thinking about 2012 for a return. Gonna fly out this time. Gonna split a table with a pal. We'll see how that all lays out. But I wanna get my head back out into the convention scene a bit. I missed it this year.
Anyway, I might be out for a couple days during the move. I might be on twitter and sabo tomorrow. I still can check email from my phone so if you need to get in touch with me, thats the best way. So if all goes well, the next blog you will read from me will be from our new place! Wish us luck on the move. Im far too out of shape to do this, but do it we must. Just gotta survive till Tuesday night. Word.

I might actually make it to Heroes Con this year - it's usually on the same weekend as ConCarolinas and I always opt to go to ConCarolinas. But they are on different weekends this year.

Its usually all comics, no media guests. But good dealers that have a bit of EVERYTHING! Decent cosplay, GREAT art auction and a really laid back, cool vibe. If you want art or the chance to talk to artists without the hustle and bustle of the SDCC or NYCC or DRAGONCON, then its good. Great hotel hangout and all that. Lots of fun and great eats and con is in walking distance. All right there. Very cool.
