Close to some big stuff

I feel like I got so many pots on the stove that as soon as one is done, I pull it off and start a new one. Don't think I'll ever be done cooking this meal of life! Its a good feeling. I've been busy with Switzerland Erotica commissions, some new commissions here in the States, Anna II pages, Webstrip preparation, and much more I haven't discussed. I finished the Walking Dead cards and those are sent back to Cryptozoic. Set should come out Sept. 12th I think. I've just never been busier! Its been great.

I have taken the time to do some sketching in my sketchbook during my downtime, which is good. But mostly this week I've been spending time with the Codester and the Scott Bot. The Codester has never seen any Indiana Jones or Star Wars 4-6, or Superman. We watched RAIDERS and TEMPLE and SUPERMAN. I think he thought they were okay. Didn't go crazy over them like I did when I was a kid. We watched Superman last night and the first time you see Chris Reeve in the outfit and start smiling and talking, saving Lois and the helicopter, I got teary eyed. I just love him that performance so much. He'll always be Superman to me. The kid however said "this movie has too much talking and not enough action." HEARTBROKEN!!! Heh. Oh well. Most movies in 2011 are all action and kids be spoiled by that. I'd rather have a movie of all talking and a little action with meaning behind it. I guess thats what I grew up with. Its interesting to see the different styles of generations' loves. For example, Cody brought this game called ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS for the Wii. Now, I LOVE Zelda. Back in the day Zelda though. This new one looks sooooo confusing. Again, generation gap.

Is it me? Am I getting old and too set in my ways? (sigh) I wonder what the bots' reaction would be to Superman. He seems to love Star Wars and Star Trek. And Trek is all talking! Oh, and Doctor Who. He loves that.

Speaking of the good doctor, new episodes tonight. I will be watching. Oh yes. Also, today now that the wife is home, I hope to finish a few commission thingies I got on my plate. Then crank out some digital colors. Gotta do some minor shopping. then Codester goes back tomorrow. Then a couple days back to ourselves, then my parents come up for a visit. It'll be the Bots' 3rd Birthday! Then packing for the big (or do I mean small) move. (sigh) Life man. So busy. No time to stop and smell the roses. In fact, I am not even sure what a rose looks like anymore. Does it look like a #08 or #1 Micron pen or C2 W4 Copic Marker? I know those pretty well!

Not complaining folks. I've never been happier. The busier, the better!

Luvs, T
