Saw an article at aintitcool.com about a person's top five potential reboots for Superheroes. I thought I'd chime in with my own top five reboots. Cause reboots are gonna happen anyway. So I might as well toss my thoughts into the ring.
--HE-MAN: On this I agree. Do a cool He-Man that is faithful to the original cartoon. Recreate some of those beloved characters, cities and castles and weapons. That would be awesome.
--FANTASTIC FOUR: That one 2000's flick was abyssmal. I'll take a reboot on that, please. I never saw the second one.
--POPEYE: I'd watch this if done right. Even though I like the Robin William musical version. Call me crazy, but I do.
--GREEN LANTERN: Not so much a reboot but if you made a killer re-thought sequel to the first one, then it would save the franchise I think. Do it right and it would be cool.
And PLEASE QUIT REBOOTING:
Hulk - We've seen it. Joss got it right in the Avengers. It works there. Leave it be. He doesn't need his own movie. Okay? Let us enjoy the tastes instead of making a smorgasboard out of it and making us too full and bored too soon.
Superman: You ain't gonna ever beat the 1978 flick. Ever. Stop trying.
Batman: I like all the versions out there for different reasons. We don't need more. No. If you want to do something Batman related that we all want, clear up the rights and release the 1960's series on disc already. I'll pre-order now. Do it!!!
Ghostbusters or Ghostbusters 3: No one wants to see them train newer younger kids. We want to see the old guys back and doing their thing. Stop with that idea. It has never worked. I'd rather see nothing than that idea. No.
Spiderman: Stop it. Enough. We got it the first time.
The Crow: You ain't gonna beat the first one. No way.
