Video Games, random stuff

Something I have yet to mention is that I've done a bit of freelance work for these local folks starting up an online Zombie fighting video game called MORTIFERA INCIDENT. Right now they are seeking funding to get the game going and I will be doing way more artwork for them if it gets funded. And I will get paid! Feeds my family, which I am grateful. I've been watching the goings on at San Diego Comic Con with a bit of pride for my friends out there, coupled with a bit of remorse that I am not a part of it. So I have set in motion a plan to get me out there in 2013. Either officially or as a fan, I will be going next year. I know I say that every year, but this time I really means it. Its too fun a show to miss. I know we can all sit and complain about all the hassles and all that, but right now all I can think of is the fun parts of it. And I will relive it all again next year. Guaranteed.

I am in the home stretch of working on the current set of sketch cards. I am dying to tell you all what it is and possibly show you some of it. But it must get approved first. Once it is, I will reveal all, trust me. Its a huge huge HUGE thing for me and deeply cool. If you could go back and tell young Adam Talley that one day he would be doing art for __________, he would crap his pants. And you will crap yours when you find out too, I am sure. Its been quite an experience. I hope I get many more opportunities to do more with it and that universe.

After the card set, I only got one more set on the plate, and that is not due till late September, so I got time. So I plan to get back to work on Anna 2 and the webcomic. Also I got two one shot comics on the TO DO list to get done. Tales of Sequential Mayhem 2, and Expendables 4. So yeah, its gonna be a BUSY summer/fall for me. In fact, I better go and get back to work on it all. This stuff ain't drawing itself!!! But anyway, it feels great to be so busy and my work appreciated that much. I thank you all.
