There's something I've had my eye on for a while and its these high end collectible figures through Sideshow and Hot Toys. While they are amazing and incredibly detailed, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the price. While its well worth the amount, what I mean is the price for MY BUDGET. Its hard for me to consider dropping $150-400 on a figure like that. But I can dream! I only own two: One is a Stormtrooper which was given to me as a gift and another is a Egon from Ghostbusters. That was only $60 though. He's incredibly cool looking, but I never really "play with him." More like a trophy. Maybe if I had a nice glass case to display them in, I'd enjoy them more and invest in them. One day the kids could sell them off for beer and whore money I am sure. Anyway, here are some that have definitely caught my eye:

The detail on this Keaton era Batman is unreal. He was always one of my favorite versions of the character. |
Then we got the current version. Who doesn't like the functionality of that costume? |
And check out the sculpt detail on that face! |
This is a statue as opposed to a figure. I've ever been into statues really but I saw this at Heroes this last year and I stopped and admired the hell out of it. The THING is my favorite Marvel character. I think I will own this one day. He looks like Mike Weiringo drew him. |
This one is an absolute MUST OWN for me. Christopher Reeve in Superman is the best comic book movie performance and comic movie ever made. And they really did justice to his face. |
Gotta have this. Its Jack!!!! |
Lastly, the only Star Wars one that really caught my eye is this Jedi Luke: My favorite version of any character in the Star Wars saga. His best costume too! |
Another thing I wanted to mention that I am slowly drifting into is Anime. I've always sorta been on the outside of checking that stuff out. But over the last two years, I've been more open to the idea. I bought Akira on bluray and I am re-watching Cowboy Bebop now. I started watching Star Blazers (or Space Battleship Yamato) and I got a slew of others I wanna check out via Netflix. Finally time to check these things out and give em an honest go.
Lastly, I've been enjoying the hell out of the old Twilight Zones on Netflix. I missed a lot of them over the years and now I am playing catch up with them. The transfer on the Netflix versions are really good! Check em out if you got Netflix.
