First up, some behind the scenes looks at the "nerve center" of Idiothead.com being fixed. I had to put another new HD in my Imac this week. Here she is with the main cover off.
Lifting the screen and you can see the poor girl's innards. The hard drive is right there in the middle.
Old meets new. The new HD is on the left. The right one goes bye bye.
So its replaced and working great. and I am greatly confident in my abilities to do it again. GEEK SQUAD, eat my ass!!! (Many thanks to my tech guru Eric for his much needed guidance for the steps I missed the first time around!)
Next: "Forgive me father, for I have sinned. and OOOOHHHHH how I've sinned...."
