Cha! said the kitty.

Monday--

I get up around 11pm. Feed the cats and fish. I am pretty much on my own all day as the wife is gone to work and school and stuff. So, I get a new rolling ruler, portfolio thingie, and some bristol board paper. I do a couple more "SECRET PROJECT" pages. I also go to Lil' Chef and run into the Kman. We bullshit for an hour or so, talking about how old we're getting and our plans for the future. We also discuss plans to attend the SPX in Maryland in September.

All the while, I am considering shelving the current Pleasant Hymns #4 pages. Its not turning out as funny looking as I once concieved and I know I can do way better. I've got plenty of time, so I start writing a new concept that I have on the table... a "halloween issue!" and I choose to use some pages from the would have been HYMNS #4 as a side story about Mortin and the Porno. Nothing is set in stone, but I think that is where I am gonna go. I will worry about it all once I get the Mayhem book put together and the SECRET PROJECT done. A month or so.

I finally send in my payments for WIZARD WORLD and MOTOR CITY CON. Its official. No backing out now. I'm there. I put in an hours worth of practice on the guitar. I've got about 8 songs completely written for the weekend, with enough room for collaboration.

I fall asleep late at night after drawing a bit on some new pages.

Tuesday---

Kelly has the day off, so we go to Pondo. She's in a particularly good mood so we chat about our lives and future. I tell her my new ideas on Pleasant Hymns #4, to which she is very supportive. After dropping her off, I head into work early and get to work putting together the MAYHEM book. Then I punch in and pretend to work for 10 hours.

I design a new logo for the IDIOTHEAD band and work on updating the sites.

I get home and am too tired to do anything, so I conk out as Kelly is getting ready for her morning shift around 5am.

Wednesday---

I wake up around noon and check my email. I'm feeling quite nostolgiac so I take a drive out to Beal City (my old stomping grounds) and around town, listening to music. I am trying to stay focused on what I want to do while recording this weekend. I call and chat with Shane about the plans for this weekend and the recording schedule. All is looking good.

I go to the Book Mark and score a couple of Magazines, including a new one: LO-FI... an indie comic magazine. Sounds pretty sweet. I treat myself to some low fat Fazoli's (as per my current diet... see rant on my CHAT FORUM page back at the `Head Site).

I head to work and stay there for 10 hours before returning home, bored to death only to pass out out of boredom. Natch.
