A Silence that speaks so much louder than words.....

MONDAY----

I wake up and check email. I get a notice that my MAYHEM books are due to arrive today. I wait around the house, sketching and doodling, cleaning house. Nothing shows up. The wife and I work out for around 40 minutes, after which I am VERY sore. I head into work, cause I agreed to help out this week and work monday. I get home around 2am and find a UPS note on my door saying they will try to deliver the books tomarrow. I opt to sleep in the living room so as to not miss the UPS guy's knock.

I sit down and draw a pretty awesome 11x17 pinup of Shawn of the Dead. I am hoping to do a couple more on thursday before the con, to catch those horror art enthusiasts. I konk out around 5am watching STAR TREK: TNG.

TUESDAY----

Still sore from yesterday's workout, I opt to skip the workout today. I instead wait around for the UPS guy. Finally, I check outside the door to find a note saying that the boxes were dropped off at the office! So, I get up and head down to the office and get my packages. I open them and inspect. Its all there and its all good! Happy times. TALES OF SEQUENTIAL MAYHEM will be at the Motor City Convention after all!!!

I check email and float a note to all the MAYHEM guys that I got the books and that we are in business. We rock. I spend some time updating sites and forum posts before heading to work for a grueling 12 hour shift. Is it just me, or is this week dragging?? lol

I pass out around 5am to news on the tele, after the wife gets home from late night work.

WEDNESDAY----

I wake up around noon and ask the wife if she wants to make a comic's run to Midland. She decides to sleep in, so I head to Midland by myself. At Collector's Corner, I buy WAAAAY too much. FAMILY GUY THE COMIC, MOON KNIGHT #2, WOLVERINE ORIGINS #2 (steve dillon art!), BITE CLUB #2, AMERICAN VIRGIN #3 (becky cloonan art!), DORK TOWER and the new ALL STAR BATMAN & ROBIN. I head back to Mt. Pleasant through a horrible rainstorm.

I get to work early and spend an hour reading my comics. Pumped up, I sit and write out the script to Pleasant Life #2. Its a killer diller! Then I punch in early and help out building proofs till 3am. Finally, 5 days off! Just gotta survive through thursday and then Friday morning is the MOTOR CITY CON! Quite excited to get my 2006 tour rolling!

I check emails, update blogs, drop off film, mail out MAYHEM books to people, and get everything ready for a weekend of Mayhem as only I can bring it! Its gonna rock!
