FRIDAY---

I get up and check email at CMU library. Being without internet at home sucks! I round up the wife and go to see SUPERMAN RETURNS. I posted a full review of the film at my forum at the head site. It was okay. Fair... okay.

I spend the rest of the night working on the script to Pleasant Life #2 and finish it and I pencil and ink the first page. Its a funny little gag that takes Mortin and his friends out of the mundane college life and into the TREK world... thats all I'll say for now. But think ASHCAN #3 (for you longtime fans) and thats a nice hint for you.

SATURDAY---

I wake up and go shopping with the wife. I take her out to Bennagins and come home to do some writing. I work on THE OUTCAST #2 script and do some thumbnailing for Pleasant Life #2. Its all looking good.

My parents come up from Southern Illinois and we go have dinner with them at the famous Lil Chef. Then they go to their hotel and we head home.

With me burnt out from drawing, I opt to fire up the PS2 (which hasn't been used in months!) to try to get further on Dragon Quest 8. I get so far and die, so I have to head to my one job to print off instructions on how to beat a bad guy I am having trouble with. I get home read them and pass out.

SUNDAY----

I got all day to work on getting further on Dragon Quest 8, and thats all I do till 6:30, when we go to meet my parents at the Casino. We eat at the buffett and they go on the casino floor to gamble. I, not into gambling much head to the arcade in the casino. There, to my complete surprise, I win a GAMEBOY ADVANCE for only a couple of tokens! First time I've ever one anything at the casino! Unfortunatly for me, I already have a GAMEBOY ADVANCE, so I think I'll give it to my son for X-mas. Its a long time to wait to give it to him, but that way, I got time to save up money to buy him some decent games to go along with it!

We head to my parents' room and B.S. for a couple hours about everything before leaving and I head home to get further on Dragon Quest 8. I pass out around 3am.

MONDAY----

I wake up at 10:30 and go play some more Dragon Quest. My parents show up at my place around 1pm with my brother, so we visit with them till 4:30 or so. They leave and I try to take a nap. I wasn't successful. We get up to meet my parents again at the casino buffett and wait in line for an hour. Then eat really good seafood. After that we head home and I try to nap again, to no avail. So, bored, I head into my job to scan pics of my Jersey trip for the website and update emails and things. My pal Dean has shot me some examples of the new PLEASANT LIFE comic book Logo, which I give my thoughts on. I also spend time emailing people back, paying bills online and scanning in pics for people to see. and I update my BLOG, natch.

All in all, a good weekend. One more vacation day to go, then back to the mundaneness of my stupid little life. But at least I got alot of drawing done this week!
