So far, so good, so shut up!

WEDNESDAY---

I wake up wishing that I could give my left nut to just go back to sleep. In the end, I decide to do the "right" thing and head to McDonalds for my glorious 12-5 shift. Only to find that there were "big wigs" in the store for some sort of quarterly restaurant evaluation. I HATE that shit. Its all about the times, procedures, meetings, marketing plans, etc. Less about actual customer satisfaction... let alone WORKER satisfaction. You can never be a good employee at McDonalds, EVER! Trust me, I got seven long years of McExperinece to back up this claim. This ain't just me ranting. Its the real deal.

But I survived, the restuarant passed or whatever that means, and so I finished out my shift okay. I learned that I only have FIVE DAYS TO GO till I am gone from McDonalds for good. Thats this Thursday, and Tues-Friday next week and its all over. I cannot wait to swipe that card for the last time. I'll miss some of the people, but the bollicks that comes with the golden arches work experience can shampoo the deepest, fattest crevices surrounding my crotch.

Anyway, without getting graphic....

I head to the newspaper and do a 5-4:30am. We are SWAMPED with ads this week. Too many promos and co-workers missing this week. Insane amount of commercial work as well. Wow. Just nutty.

Good news is that I figured out what I can do about my IPOD situation. I tested out a new theory and it worked! So, no worries. Hopefully sometime this weekend I can sit down and FULLY test that theory. But I am confident that by next week, I will have a fully loaded IPOD. Right now, I only got 500 songs on it! (WAH WWAAH, right?)

I also scored another commission gig. And I am talking about doing some illustration project with a pal o'mine. So, steady workload on the horizon.

Goals for this weekend: FINISH PLEASANT LIFE #1 COMPUTER WORK! It goes off to the printer next week!!! Also, finish art on PLEASANT LIFE #2. I'm expecting the EARTHGIRL #2 script to come sometime in the next couple weeks, so I gotta have room for that. Plus, all this freelance stuff. Good thing that my McDays are almost over. McFuck Yeah!

On another note: No new baby news from Shane. It COULD be this weekend. Or Tomarrow. We'll just have to see. But if he is born, I'll have to trek down there this weekend for a quick peek and I just got so much shit going on right now that I need to stay home. PLUS, I got alot of backed up housework to catch up on! So, its a juggling act.
