This is likely my last post for the year of 2006. You won't hear from me till next year! HA! Unless some big shit happens in the next 4 days, which I doubt.
So, I wake up today and I got 2 seperate commission offers. Cool. Then later tonight, a cat orders 7 more from me! And I thought I would have an easy weekend!!! But I'm not complaining mind you. This is paying my bills! So, commission work this weekend is all I have on my plate. No partying. I'm not the type. Plus, I'm fuggin' broke.
On tuesday I had a super slow day so I scanned all artwork for Earthgirl 2 and did all the art and word balloons for Pleasant Life #2 in the computer! I'm starting to get ahead! Once I get these commissions out of my way, I'll be even more ahead!
2006 was a really good year for me. I took the geek vacation I've always wanted to. I branched out and did a new con and made some new friends/fans there. Also, I looked objectively at my work, took my feedback and made a plan for 2007 and beyond. I'm ready to launch that. The dance continues. It was a fun year.
Next year I got more cons to look forward to. New comic releases, ceremonies, anniversaries and the BIG MOVE! You know the one. I've only talked about it non stop for months now! I've also got a couple other things in my brew pot of alchemy! I'll clue you all in on what it is later, but trust me when I say its very good news!
I still haven't got my damn sleep regulated. ITs 9pm and I feel like I want to pass out of exhaustion. I stayed up watching JACKASS 2 on DVD and I should have napped. Oh well. Serves me right.
Well, I'm outtie folks. Take care over the weekend. Don't drink and drive like a moron. Don't let OTHERS drink and drive! Okay? Have fun, be safe and I'll see you all next year.
