Left Saturday morning and got to Shane's house in the afternoon. Went shopping in South Bend. I finally bought "The Kramer"... the kramer painting poster I've been looking for forever! It was all nice and framed. Great mall in South Bend. Spent a bit of cash at the comic shop too. Got back, watched JACKASS 1 DVD extras, played video games, watched Evan and passed out around 2am. Quite tired.
Next day, I slept till 11am, and we went for lunch at Stooges downtown. I love that place! We finished our first podcast and it should be up and on the site within the next month or so. (Finally!) Watched JACKASS 2 and did a funny skit tape. All in all, a great visit.
The next day, I had a job interview which went very well. I am really hoping I get the gig. The place and people seem like really cool cats, and the atmosphere around the place is exactly what I am looking for! I should know in a few days if I 100% got the job or not. I'm crossing fingers.
We went and looked at our apartment and to our surprise, she had one to show us! It was ground level, and in the building we wanted, (closest to the lake). We jumped on it cause it seemed too perfect. I'm a big believer in that fate leads you to where you were meant to be and where you want to be. and with all these puzzle pieces slowly falling into place, its looking really good!
So, I officially move in February 1st. I'll be living by myself for a while till our other lease is up up here. Its a juggling act but necessary. We're trying to relocate our LIFE, you know? That takes time. So, if I am incommunicado for a time, don't take it personally. I am not going to be able to check my email daily like I have been for the past five years. More like every other day or so. So please be patient with me folks.
I cannot tell any of you anything beyond what I have stated here. I'll announce more when I can have more to say. Just hope for me that things turn out alright. But I'll tell yeh, I went in and put my two weeks notice in at my job at the newspaper and I walked in kinda sad. I'll miss it... but, I walked out with the biggest smile on my face than I've had in the past 5 years.
Much love to you all. Myspace me.
