Ipod, SmiPod... where's the Edison Cylinder??

So, been about 20 days since I last posted. Slipping in my old age.

The first part of those days I've been on auto-pilot. Work, sleep. Work, sleep. Got a $140 electric bill. (Heat is electric) So, the bad winter we started out with came to fuck me in the ass without lube. Water based of course. So, I dunno how I am gonna pay that. I was projecting $45. I guess I'll pay what I can and hope it doesn't get shut off.

Good news: PLEASANT LIFE #1 is back from the printer and I started sending out the pre-orders. It looks beautiful. Literally, beautiful. I am extremely proud of it. Its very professional looking and the culmination of the last 5 years of work with the characters. I cannot wait for you all to see it. Order now!

I am premiering it live at the Pittsburgh Comic Con in April. It will be available at FANFARE COMICS in Kalamazoo/Portage likely next week. I am also working on getting a store signing going there. More on that later.

Still working out the fall con and release schedule. Once I am moved and know what job the wife will end up having, I can ballpark it then. So, give me till June to know for sure.

I am busy sending off comics to various reviewers, online, magazine, podcast, etc. I'll send info and links as the word comes in.

I ordered some posters of PLEASANT LIFE that I will sell at Pittsburgh as well. Gonna try to do a poster run once a year and sell em at cons only.

Been getting into buying CDs again. I got the new NEAL MORSE, TYPE O NEGATIVE, a goth rock SUICIDE GIRLS compilation, the newest WEIRD AL, and some BLOODHOUND GANG. Gonna get back into the music mindframe so we can start working on the next Idiothead CD. Right now, we are thinking: goth, industrial prog comedy with concept. Should be interesting. A step in a direction we've never gone before.

I bought the BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES on dvd used the other day. Man, I never realized how much I loved that cartoon when it was on in the early 90's. I love it. I plowed through the discs and quite enjoyed it.

My new job is doing very well. I get along with everyone greatly. Alot of things are in flux with the company right now so its kind of up in the air where certain things will end up. But whatever... its a job right? My main gig has always been my creative endevours.

I've got a couple commission requests which I had to put on hold cause of lack of computer or scanner. Soon though, that problem will be fixed... once the move is complete. Till then, i am on automatic.

I miss my wife, miss my cats.

I came home to Mt. Pleasant this past St. Patties Day weekend. My friend Robert was in from Kosovo and he, my friend Ted and I went to the strip club. Then out drinking. I didn't feel good so I came home and puked, and let them continue partying. All in all, a good weekend with close friends. I felt alive and social again! Better than staying home alone in a dark apartment with no furniture!

Gonna be broke for the next 2 months while I pay bills, save for Pittsburgh Con and the moving expenses. Wish me luck. Better yet, buy a comic or two. That DEFINATLY helps!!!

Much love to you folks.

T
