Folks, Pittsburgh con updated their site and finally listed me as a guest so I thought I’d stop by and say that I am very much looking forward to it.
I went there last year for the first time and am very much excited to return again for this year’s convention!
Pittsburgh Comic Con is located at the Monroeville expo center, across from the Monroeville Mall (famously the location for the original DAWN OF THE DEAD and recently, Kevin Smith’s new film: ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO). Many famous folks will be there including:
David Prowse (Darth Vader), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet), Tom Savini (if you don’t know who this guy is… shame on you!), Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica modern), Fat Momma (So you want to be a superhero?), Al Feldstein (classic MAD artist and legend), Herb Trempe (Legend, creator of Wolverine), Brian Harnois (Ghost Hunters), Joe Michael Linsner (Dawn… of course), David Mack, Mike Oeming, Michael Turner, Amanda Conner, Danielle Corsetto and many more.
Some of my pals will be there. Including: Eric Adams, Layne Toth and Brett Pinson (writer on my side project “THE EXPENDABLES,” which will be on sale at the show!)
Its shaping up to be quite a convention. I’m also donating two pieces to the charity auction held on Saturday and I will have tons of new art and new comics to debut there, the first stop on my 2008 convention tour!
April 25-27th. Me and my good pal Robert Keck will be there all weekend. Pittsburgh Comic Con. See you there folks!
