So last week, I was pencilling through Pleasant Life pages and then I reached for the next one and looked at the time and realized where I was....
Thats right, the first page of the final issue! I pulled out the camera and documented the event. I got kinda sad at my realization and decided to stop there and just go ink the rest for now! I wasn't ready for it yet. But now a week later, I'm in deep...
As you can see now, I am over it. I am about 10 pages into the LAST STORY! The last part is probebly gonna run 24 pages and so I got around 15 pages to go till its all over! I took a pic of what I got running so far, and I even STRATEGICALLY covered any spoiler pics that will ruin it. So you're safe. In about another two weeks max, I'll have this sucker done. Forever.
Man, there's a thought....
This week, I was chatting with Robert about our tradebook project and man, its shaping up to be quite an undertaking. I'm almost nervous about it. But I am very excited at the chance to stretch myself. It will be a grand opportunity to do something this huge and make it good. Very epic.
I outlined my 2008-early 2009 schedule of releases and its the FULLEST You've ever seen from me. A LOT of work!!! But once I get Pleasant Life out of the way, It will be like lighting a fuse.
So, many more thoughts to come on all this.
I bought myself DR. STRANGELOVE on DVD for $10 brand new from BEST BUY this week. Man, I love that movie. The wife got THE BEE MOVIE and THE MIST. We're moving into movie watching mode over here, as I spent most of my weekend ff drawing and watching movies I have been putting off. Its great.
Lastly, here is a pic of all 4 of our cats on the first day of Spring. Its rare to get a pic with all 4 of them together, so cherish this moment. Its them looking through our bay window at the sunny day outside. Stalking birds. Ah, to be a cat and never have to work again.....
Fare the well o' my doogies.
