Well, things are ALMOST back to normal! Scotty is off all monitors, and he’s begging for food. So we got the circumcision going and he should come home for good either Saturday or Sunday this weekend! Hopefully, all goes well and that happens fine. If not, I will let you know.
Man, what a whirlwind of a couple weeks this has been! Fucking crazy. I cannot even remember what day it is right now. But thank god its almost all over! I cannot wait to get back to my routine… well, NEW routine. I’ve been driving hours a day, sleeping on hard hospital floors, witnessing some pretty amazing things, some not so amazing things, living in the same few clothes for a couple weeks, eating nothing but bad shit, listening to medical jargon, getting in trouble at my dayjob and so much more. It’s been one hell of a ride. But I am ready to go back to my little cave and nest for the next… oh.. ten years. That should help me feel close to “normal” again! Whew.
And dude, have I got a ton of crap waiting for me to do! We desperately need laundry and to clean house. I got grocery shopping today and cleaned out the car. After everything is settled, I plan to get back to the drawing board, first thing. I got a couple of commissions to do, then I just got the next EXPENDABLES script from Brett so I gotta order paper and get that going. Also, I am now behind on OUTCAST pages as a result of the last couple weeks. Soon I will get back to it and into the swing of things. Wish me luck.
Also, I got a situation sorta. I’m having trouble at my dayjob and I don’t know how much longer its going to last for me. Basically, since my life priorities have shifted as a result of my son being born, it isn’t working with THEIR priorities, and they are not willing to really help me with that. (that’s the NICEST way I can put that BTW). So its entirely possible, I may have to seek alternative employment.
