Work, sleep, work, sleep, work, sleep, work, sleep.
Luckily last night I finally got some drawing in. I penciled 4 pages and started inks on them. I’m very happy with how they turned out. I needed a burst of success at the table like I had last night! Its been a slow period for me lately. Of course, adjusting to Scotty, work stress and home stuff has all been a challenge. But soon we will be free of some of that.
Ted is moving back up north today. He tried to make a go of it down here, but it didn’t take. So he’s onward and upward and Kelly and I wish him the best. Although I am sure he’ll be happy not to be woke up by my late night drawing fits and Scotty waking up for bottles.
Tim Fisher, Brian Maze and I have hammered out plans of going to Heroes Con, NC so I am 100% for sure going next year! I know I promised myself to go the couple years before that, so now that promise is finally coming to fruition! So expect me in the south next June!!!
I hope to have Expendables #2 art done by end of October so that I can focus on finishing OUTCAST #1 and another project that has now fell on my lap. I’m really excited for this new one. I’ll let you all know what it is soon enough. Kelly and I will be pretty hermit-like for the next couple months while we just work hard to sell off some of our stuff on ebay, pay off bills and focus on improving ourselves and our work in general. Also learning how to be parents. Its gonna take a lot of soul and I think we’re up to it. Kelly’s doing great. But soon we’re gonna have to juggle two jobs and the kid’s habits. Its gonna be a test. But we’ll make it work.
I’ll be selling more of my private collection on ebay soon. Graphic novel lots, comic book lots, original art (mine and others), etc. I’ll post links here so you can scope them out. Perfect Xmas presents!
