So what if I turned 31....

Well, my birthday weekend came and went. We opted to not go to Mt. Pleasant. Lack of funds, Scotty's fussiness in the car seat all being factors. I think we may head up there in March. Kelly has plans to visit her friends up there then. I dunno if I will go with her or not. We'll see.

On Friday and Saturday we went shopping. I got a crapload of new stuff. New comics that have been accumulating in my pull box, some DVDs: Hellboy 2, Punisher (1987) and Punisher (2003) extended cut. Also a Hulk Hogan anthology box set thing for dirt cheap. Glad I bought it cause it brought back some memories. and lastly, the Psycho Special Edition. A lucky find! Been looking for that used forever now. I also downloaded some STAR TREK VOYAGER on itunes. Yeah, I've decided to give VOYAGER a chance. Been avoiding it for so long. but I'll try it out for a couple solid seasons. We'll see.

Thirty-one isn't a hugely notable year so not much nostalgia this time around. Just another day. But I am glad I took the weekend off. I was getting burned out from the porn shop routine. I have been working on scanning Pleasant Life pages and doing word balloons. I just crossed the 100 page mark. I am touching up panels and even REDOING some panels here and there. I'm working hard to put out the best product I can for this release.

I also sorta gave myself more work to do. I took back the wise intelligence pages and decided to rescan each page and do the word balloons here in house than let other people do it. I want to make sure that it is the best I can possibly do, and again, I appreciate outside help. But I just want to make sure that the book has my stamp all over it. Plus I'd jump at the chance to touch up that older art!

So yeah, gave myself some new shit to do. No big deal though. I'll still have those books and OUTCAST done by March 30th if all goes well. I am plowing through it as fast and best as I can. I may not be posting as much stuff online in the next couple months as a result. Just hit me via email if you need me and that would be the best way to get ahold of me.
