Well, got more word ballooning done. The bot woke me up around 7am, but I was sooooo damn tired that I opted to nap next to him on the floor till around 11am. Waking up every ten minutes to his hooting and squealing. He's asleep in the rocky chair now but fidgeting like he's gonna get up. Anyway, I got word balloons done up to the last part of the book. 30 more pages to go. I also gotta touch up a couple pages and rescan them. Then final edit with the wife and then Pleasant Life tradebook is done and in the can!
Wish me luck. I'm gonna be hard at work on it to get it done by tuesday!
Tonight, I gotta work at the shop from 4-midnight by myself. While it would be greatly ideal for me to catch up on some drawing by doing it there, I know they will be watching me cause its sunday, so I better just grin and bare it and work my shift as normal. It will be a long night, no doubt. but at 10pm, I got the sabo show to keep me company and then once I get out, I am heading home to get work done. Plan on pencilling what I need tonight, inking it and scanning it all tonight. If I am lucky. that way I can plow through word balloons monday and tuesday and have it all done by Tuesday night! The home stretch is in my eyeline!
New York Comic Con was this weekend. My pal Brian went. He texted me a bit last night saying he was out drinking. I didn't get a clear answer as to how the show went for him. Maybe he'll call me tonight at work. that would be good, to keep me company. Some big news announcements there at the show: Stuart Immonen will be off Ultimate Spidey and onto NEW AVENGERS and all the Ultimate titles are relaunching with new #1's. It kinda pisses me off when they do that. But whatever. I guess I am dropping Ultimate Spidey and gonna start picking up New Avengers, cause Stuart is one of my absolute favorite artists out there right now. His stuff is just the balls! Planters Cheez balls.
Also this week I am gonna finish and get my new business cards printed. Gonna go through overnightprints for them. Gonna get some nice ones made! Oh yeah!
Also, I gotta finalize a cover for Pleasant Life's tradebook. I've done 4 different ones but haven't settled on a final yet. I got an idea for another and its a doozy, so maybe that will be the one. I want it to be the best thing I've ever drawn. Out with a bang.
Anyway, the bot is waking up so its feeding/changing time. Gonna do that, then head to work and suffer through another 8 hours and then back home for two days off. My favorite time of the week!

Please grant me the sanity and sanctity to keep my head in the game and not continue to let my work woes get the better of me. I'm always sabotaging myself in that area. Gotta stop that.
