Going through the motions...

Well, some developments:

TAXES--Still fucked. thanks H&R block. Basically, we have to resubmit our federal and to get what we are owed may take all year. and they are giving us the runaround about a refund of our fees paid and plenty of attitude to boot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND you using H&R block in any form. Please, do not use them.

WORK--I was wrote up this week...for drawing comics on the job! lol I mean, I've been doing it for a long time and they finally decided to nail me for it. Oh well. I signed the doc with a smile and no hesitation. My boss perceived that as me being pompus and with attitude. I explained my unhappiness as of late, especially since the day that they told me that if I step down from management, I would be fired. I told her that I like to feel valued and that didn't make me feel very valued and I have lost my zeal and pride in my work and myself. She understood. I apologized if I sounded like I was being a prick lately, but its just simply how I feel. We agreed that if a crew position opens up, I will be allowed to step down into it. Till then, I am gonna grin and bare it and try to keep my mouth shut! Kelly's promotion chances have been pushed back till may, due to restructuring at Walgreens and a floundering economy (Thanks BUSH!). So we're waiting on that. And with tons of bills, comic cons and fees to pay soon, it would be in my best interest to "grin and bare it" for now. I'll go through the motions and try to keep my complaints and rants to a dull moan.

COMICS--I am on page 130 of Pleasant Life word ballooning. All pages have been scanned and toned. Just waiting on word balloons and final edits/spellchecks. Thing is, it won't be 170 pages... but 182 pages! So I am thinking of readjusting the price. (sigh) I want to make it as cheap for the fans as possible, but we'll have to see. I haven't got much done today as I was dog beat tired the last couple of days and some intense stomach aches. No idea why. My goal this week is to start a new account to finance all comic spending and withdraw the $$$ earned for the sketchbook print and get that done so they can go in the mail.

TV/MOVIES--I finally got the DOCTOR WHO: GENESIS OF THE DALEKS DVD I ordered in the mail yesterday. I watched some of the extras on it and its chock full of cool documentaries and things. I'll probebly watch the serial after I finish Pleasant Life...as a treat. Plus I got more episodes on Itunes I've downloaded and yet to have watched. Last night was a new Battlestar Galactica and it was kicking some major ass. It went a different way than I thought it would, and never before have I had such anger and then great sorrow/remorse for a character in a show. Again, another example of my BSG is the best show on tv. I've said it before and will say it a million times! Next week, looks like some answers will finally be revealed of a cylon nature. So I am excited about that. It will be a long wait.

WEATHER--is getting nice out! Sunny and the stupid snow that was once 4 foot deep outside my window is melting away to nothing. I wish I had $$$ to go spend or places to go out in it!

I guess thats all I got on my plate right now. I'll feel better once this work week is over Sunday night and/or I get Pleasant Life done for good. My goal is to get it all in the can and on a disc ready to print by this Tuesday. Then, start on THE OUTCAST! Whew...
