YOU GET WORK DONE!!! Case in point... I got a couple announcements:
NEW TALKSHOE SHOW ON TALKSHOE.COM!!!
I present "STUDIO CHATTER." A new podcast I monitor each week that is basically a "catch all" show for the current shows on talkshoe. The two main ones we frequent (BREAKING THE PANEL and THE BIGFANBOY LIVECAST) will be followed by "STUDIO CHATTER." Catch artists in the raw and their post show thoughts as they work on work, share links and chat about various pop culture news each week. There's no way to determine how many shows there will be each week. So far, I think every tuesday and thursday it will be the new post show to the aformentioned main content-filled podcasts.
I am happy to be stepping up my involvement in the TALKSHOE shows and am excited to keep giving people an outlet to be entertained. I find the podcasts an asset because its someone/something to listen to while getting artwork done.

---I may start a new podcast via my website and talkshoe that is more "me" focused and bring in guests such as Shane Logan and others and sit one on one and talk all thing nerd. No guarantees, but that is what I am looking to do. I am trying to provide as much free content as supplementary material to my main website, IDIOTHEAD.com. That is part of what this BLOG is too, eh? :)

Meanwhile Servo meets the girl of his dreams only to find out she is dating ‘Captain Cootie’ a jock mongoloid from a rival fraternity. Written by Ryan McLelland (Philly, Ain't It Cool News, Newsarama) with art by Adam Talley (Pleasant Life) with additional art and story by David LaFuente (Ultimate Spider-Man), Ian Harker, and Terry Pavlet. I am very pleased with how this project turned out. I did the art in 2007 after Ryan asked me to be a part of the project. We worked with various post production crew to finish the project, before we decided to bring it "back in house" and give me a go at scanning the pages and doing the word balloons. What results is a book that I think we both are satisfied with. I for one am very happy to be doing a book with Ultimate Spider-Man's David LaFuente! I read USM monthly and am excited by his artwork. To have my name anywhere near a book that he did makes this project worthwhile. Its a fun, adult-oriented addicting read. One of the only times I'm hired for art duties only, and drawing someone else's words. I don't do it often. But for Ryan, I will. So get excited! Look for it in May. Likely, I'll have some copies for sale at my website and tables at the conventions this year.
