I'M GOING TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON!!!!
I'm excited and a tad nervous. I haven't been on an airplane since I was eight. I cannot recall it that much. I've never been to California. It will be the furthest I've ever been from the motherland of the mitten. I've never even seen a damn plam tree! Wow! I'm sheltered!!
I'm nervous about parking, airport ettiquette, all that stuff. Brian and I got a hotel room at the WESTON, which I guess is primo location in the "gas lamp district." Its a lot of walking and alot of hard work. I'm going as a guest and will not have a table there. However, I will be tossing copies of Pleasant Life and Outcast to companies for submissions and other projects for submissions as well. I hope to run into as many friends of mine out there as I can.
But now, I got that cemented, the wife and I gotta save and pay off bills galore. I'm still working on selling a bunch of my personal stuff to raise funds for this trip and pay off all debt I've accumulated. It will not be easy, but it can be done. Wish us luck.
And BTW, I am still available for commissions!
